Great Refugio! They had a full menu dinner and a cold buffet at breakfast
We stayed in a bunk room with 10 people but if you are lucky, private rooms are available
Super deck to enjoy a late afternoon beer!
My favorite rufigio! This was my first stay on the AV1 route. Very friendly staff. Amazing views and delicious food! Very home like feeling. Instruments available for people to play. Nice rooms.
Very difficult to make reservations, if not impossible. Cannot be done online. No email response for several weeks. Phone call was cut off in less than a minute before I even tried to understand what the lady said. Seems September 2024 is already fully booked by the time of the call today. Interesting that they still use such a low tech way to handle reservations. Many other rifugios along AV1 can be booked on their websites directly, or by filling an online form and get response within a couple of days. Sannes is, sadly, still in last century…..
We stayed in Sennes for one night in a private room. We loved everything about this Rifugio. It's one of our favourites on our trip hiking the Alta via 1. Staff are all super friendly and helpful. Amazing dinner and breakfast. The location is idyllic. With great views and the tinkling bells of the grazing cows.
Beautiful views. If you have time (and don’t mind a bit of rock scramble) the nearby Mt Sennes is definitely worth summiting.
My partner and I had a fantastic time during our stay for 1 night at the end of Sep 22'.
The food and the hospitality were outstanding.
Sennes was a welcome sight after a tough hike. Great patio, setting, staff, views and fellow travellers. Water is free, showers are free. Nice.
Quiet and beautiful, perfect for passing out after a long hike. What blew me away was the food, possibly one of the best meals I’ve ever had- make sure to order the mountain climber omelette!
Very nice mountain hut, beautiful views. Rooms were good, pretty standard rifugio rooms. Dinner was good, not as outstanding as some of the other rifugios we've stayed at but still good quality. I would not however recommend the strudel, it was definitely not the quality of the other rifugios we have had strudel in.
Excellent Rifugio, breathtaking views in the morning. Very good restaurant with tasty food, especially the Polenta was great. Perfect place to halt for multi-day hikes. Reasonable price for the region. Very clean rooms, made for Hikers with …
